About me
I am Xochi Bucuru, a Pijao mestizo woman, healer, midwife, icaro singer, and guardian of the ancestral wisdom of plants, rooted in the living traditions of Colombia.
My path began with a personal healing process in my childhood. I encountered the medicine of Yagé – Ayahuasca, when I was 12 years old, and at the age of 14, I dedicated myself to learning about the master plants in the jungle. I have walked with master plants ever since. I love sitting with wise elders from our Indigenous communities, and I continue this path of learning and healing with joy and devotion.
Today, I accompany those seeking genuine transformation, not only through plants, but also through words and constructive pedagogical tools. My work honors the traditions from which these medicines originate, accompanying each person on their individual journey.
I offer guidance, ceremonies, and education from my healing center in Colombia and through online spaces for those who call me from afar.

Respect and care for the natural balance
For me, promoting the wisdom of master plants is an act of responsibility and absolute respect for the balance of nature. It’s not about unconscious overconsumption; it’s about inviting people to learn about these sources of wisdom with care and full awareness, where personal work with one’s own tools is a large part of the process, and the plants support the awakening and discovery of one’s own gift.
I do not promote the overconsumption of plants, I promote education and closeness to the spirit that inhabits each plant, so that together we can care for, and understand the value of the elementals of the earth that are there to support us in our human evolution.

In-person services
At our healing center located in Sasaima, Cundinamarca, 3 hours from the capital, I offer individual retreats and group integration sessions for up to 3 people. I create an immersive experience in the medicine of Yagé – Ayahuasca, performing cleansing rituals with plants and any other processes you may need.
Healing walks through the territory
I love hosting one or at most three people because the processes can be done in a deep and intimate way. Our region is full of natural paradises where we can integrate these experiences with our medicine. My home is a family setting where we welcome you with love and care.
Master plant retreats for healthcare providers
Twice a year immersion in the education of the master plants Yagé, Ayahuasca, and Yopo, combined with Yoga to connect with the inner child, providing tools for personal healing and healing of patients. Our team integrates the ancestral and Western knowledge necessary for a complete experience.

Sliding Scale
I operate on a sliding scale between $50-$150 dollars because spiritual guidance should be accessible to all.
When you choose a higher tier, you are directly subsidizing deep healing processes
for low-income individuals in Colombia. Together, we balance the energy of giving
and receiving.
This space flows on community solidarity.
If your current financial situation allows
you to contribute more, your generosity provides free or low-cost spiritual support
to beautiful souls in Colombia who couldn’t otherwise afford it.
Feel free to also consider
other forms of support if you lack the financial resources. Our people have
taught us the value of “Trueque” exchanging services or knowledge for
mutual progress.
